Personal Information Protection Policy

We are a rental guarantee company that provides a service to support the "peace of mind" of lessors and tenants of rental properties. We declare that, in carrying out our rental guarantee business, we shall establish, implement and maintain a personal information protection policy that covers the following provisions in order to lawfully and properly use and manage all personal information handled in the course of business.

  1. We will comply with the laws and regulations concerning the handling of personal information such as the "Act on the Protection of Personal Information" and guidelines and other norms established by the national government in connection with the handling of personal information handled in the course of all business operations as well as the personal information of the employees, etc. In addition, we shall establish a personal information protection management system in accordance with the Japanese Industrial Standard "Personal Information Protection Management System - Requirements" (JIS Q15001) to protect personal information.
  2. When acquiring and using personal information, we shall specify the purpose of use, and shall not handle the personal information (for unintended use) beyond the scope necessary to achieve the specified purpose of use. In addition, we shall take appropriate control measures to prevent unintended use.
  3. We shall not provide the acquired personal information to any third party except with the consent of the principal person or in accordance with laws and regulations, etc.
  4. If we receive a complaint or inquiry regarding the handling of personal information, we shall promptly investigate the related facts, etc. and respond in good faith within a reasonable period of time.
  5. We shall take organizational, human, physical, and technical safety measures to appropriately manage the acquired personal information, and work to prevent and correct any leakage, loss, or damage of personal information.
  6. In light of changes in social conditions and the environment, we shall continue to review our personal information protection management system and improve our efforts to protect personal information.

1. Purpose of Use of Personal Information

  4. If the request is made through an agent, power of attorney in the form prescribed by us and a certificate of seal impression executed by the principal person, in addition to that specified in (ii) above.

Please note in advance that we will charge a fee of 1,000 yen and the consumption tax thereon for each request for disclosure or for notification of the purpose of use, among the above requests. In the case of a request by mail, please pay the fee by bank transfer, etc.
